I Like My Parents

The Old Testament ends in dramatic fashion with the words that God will “turn the hearts of the parents to the children, and the hearts of the children to their “parents” (Malachi 4:6 NIV). Whereas books and conferences address the issue of parents turning their hearts to their children (and rightfully so!), this book explores what it looks like when a child’s heart turns back to his or her mom and dad. It asks, how do parents nurture this kind of response from their children? What can children do to plant themselves in the soil of a healthy family? At a time when families around the world are facing tremendous pressures, what can be done to make children say, “I LIKE my parents!”?
