He is the foundation of our faith.
Jesus or Yeshua in Hebrew, is our Passover Lamb, the one who takes away the sins of the whole world. The one prophesied in Isaiah 53.
But he was pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5
And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son, has life. 1 John 5:11-12
