Let’s Draw Together! A Journaling Workshop
We are partnering with Picture People Plan to conduct an introductory crafting workshop. Draw together with us at this two-hour workshop, where we will explore and discover the art of journaling.
We’ll show you tools and methods for drawing out the big picture of your inspiration and ideas (using words and images), in a journal format you can easily revisit. Even if you think you can’t draw… you will rediscover -- and recover -- your childlike creativity for drawing!
Even if you think you can’t draw most things… we’ll show you how you can use just lines and basic shapes (the square, the triangle, and the circle) to quickly draw out ideas, and multiply the “little” you have to draw out virtually any idea.
Even if you think you can’t see the bigger picture at all… we will activate your unique way of seeing to help you visualise and draw together ideas fluently!
Are there prerequisites for the workshop? You’ll need to be able to hold a marker/pen/pencil and write with it.
Every participant will receive an autographed copy of Let's Draw, Draw Out, and Draw Together! The Visual Strategy Guide to Connecting Groups with the Big Picture, with a special handwritten message from the author.

About Your Facilitator -- Huang Kailin
One of a handful of bilingual visual facilitators across Asia, Kailin’s passion is helping organisations and individuals see their vision plainly, so that they may run who see it.
To draw people together and get them to their big picture, she draws out (both literally and figuratively) the vision in real time as their conversations flow. Her clients include regional leaders in domains ranging from business consultancy to digital government.
A former educator and strategic planner who stumbled into visual practice without formal art training, Kailin believes that everyone can draw their personal and corporate vision into reality, once they awaken their inner drawing child — curious, confident, and courageous.
Today, she inspires and equips aspiring visual practitioners through bespoke workshops that teach how to Picture People Plan (that happens to be the name of the visual practice she founded!).
She is the author of Asia's first visual strategy playbook, "Let's Draw, Draw Out, and Draw Together!", now available at major bookstores.
